Provincetown Pet Information:

Dog Fancy Magazine named Provincetown America’s most dog friendly town, for good reason. Ptown loves all dogs – ours and our visitors, and treats them well with lots of love! Most shops, galleries, restaurants (with outdoor areas) and some boat charters welcome well behaved dogs at the business owners discretion. Almost all businesses offer treats for lucky doggies or provide a cool drink of water.

  • Provincetown has a wonderful dog park - Pilgrim Bark Park - Bark Park is located at the intersection of Rt 6 and Shank Painter Road in Provincetown. Parking and main entrance access from Route 6 going East.

  • Many restaurants that have outdoor seating will allow you to bring your dog. Many of the stores in town are pet friendly so feel free to bring your dog as you stroll through town.

  • All of the Provincetown and National Seashore Beaches allow dogs. There are even “Off Leash” hours. Guidelines and hours are posted at all of the beaches.
